This location is also approximately 20 miles from Orlando International Airport, a mile from the Premium Outlet Mall, eight miles from Sea World® Orlando, nine miles from the Orange County Convention Center, and 10 miles from Wet and Wild Water Park and Universal Studios®.
Hotel amenities include the Disney Gift Shop, swimming pool, 4 lighted tennis courts, fitness center, and preferred tee times at all 4 Walt Disney World® Resort golf courses. The onsite Giraffe Cafe is a casual dining spot for breakfast and dinner. Giraffe Lounge is a full-service bar with sports, pool, and darts. The Grab-n-Go offers self-serve snacks and light meals, and Sips Pool Bar offers appetizers, snacks, and sandwiches by the pool. Kids 10 & under eat free for breakfast.

The newly renovated custom designed Traditional rooms at the Royal Plaza are located on the first and 2nd floors in the Lanai area of the hotel featuring resort views. These rooms are located on floors two through eleven and rank among some of the largest guest rooms in the Downtown Disney area. This room offers plenty of room for the vacationing family or business travelers who need additional work area. Floor to ceiling windows.
